The company has never, since Mika came on board, been a wellspring of information for shareholders. They have consistently supplied only as much as is legally required by law. it works for them, so why would they change now?
It is my opinion that June 24th was the most important date to them, because that established, legally, who actually had voting rights. With that information, they could calculate if they had enough proxy votes in their pocket to ultimately carry the day, and that retail could not influence the vote, no matter what they put forward now.
