After posting the following in the "Off Topic Forum". I received a note from a respected poster who stated "An excellent post worthy of the main board" so here you go!

As a casual observer of this board since stumbling, literally onto POET in Sunnyvale a couple years ago and buying in, selling off and buying and selling. Anyway, here's my 2 cents on the group think here. At one time my points where triple digits, I was going with the flow, agreeing for the most part with the core. Then I decided after watching some very passive aggressive behaviour demonstrated by some members let my opinion be known. Big mistake, points deducted, messages taken away, all in all, childishness IMO. Here's the truth, my truth. I have been involved in VC for many years, have had some winners and dogs. I'm not sure where this will end up. The last 2 years, POET has allowed me to take my cash back into the big market and keep theirs in play. Most small caps that run on news you can take great advantage of, this has been stellar for just that. Before you chastise me for buying and selling, that’s what you do here on the small board.

So, we will see what happens, when it happens, not before. Only a handful of folks know when the ball will drop, as one person stated last week "I have it on good sources" well apparently Andech1’s sources were guessing. You can have your best guess; it has no bearing on the outcome. However it's very mean spirited to climb down someone's back for not providing DD when you yourself have nothing to back up a....guess. This goes for all of us.

This baby is going to sink or swim, right now they’re treading water, here’s hoping than can get it to the finish line. In closing I just want to say that there’s some well researched posts here, most however IMO are best guesses or wishes. I’m not sure there will be another opportunity to shake some cash off the tree like this week, but I’m always at the ready. The point is, I’m here to make money, not friends or for that matter enemies. Here’s to being long, I like to swing for the fence even on another’s dime! I will wait with the rest.
