I have been a stakeholder for nearly 10 years. Been to AGM in T.O. and elsewhere. Been to the old lab in Storrs. Over that time, the company has always been looking for a strategic partner. For me, that will be the key to this forthcoming deal. The sale of Denselight gives some immediate cash flow, but it is the follow thru on the "undertaking to enter into key operating agreements, including a preferred supply agreement and a long-term strategic cooperation agreement among the parties".
I am sorry, but I think this will tell the story of the future....Poet may have someone on the Board of our partner with a reciprocal plan. I think this will move Poet to being truely commercially viable.
"One objective of the “Strategic Cooperation” agreement is to maintain the relationship between the two companies at a senior management level. In addition, the “Preferred Supplier Agreement” should bind the companies at the working level in a mutually-dependent relationship."
