Message: From MD&A - 100G/400G, ROE vs TROE

"we anticipate additional Optical Engine prototype orders in late 2019 and into early 2020, fielded by our newly established Singapore subsidiary company, POET Technologies Pte Ltd (“POET Singapore”)."

I haven't had a chance to go through the MD&A yet, but this caught my eye from Julien's post. I am curious as to the need for a new subsidiary company in Singapore. Tax purposes maybe, or perhaps another level of IP protection?

Any thoughts from the board?
