Was the Debenture offering really necessarry if the Denselight buyer approached Poet to buy it must have meant a lot of interest on their behalf. They invoked a no shop clause so i highly doubt a white knight is in the wings waiting to scoop us up if this deal falls apart.
I dont think it would have been unreasonable to get a 10% downpayment on the deal to hold Denselight till closing which would have funded us till now without dillution or the elimination of the need to buy our shares on the open market. Our volume has been dismall since Debentures.
i mean if you go to buy something that you dont take right away and want them to hold it for you,a downpayment to hold it is not uncommon.
Also why do we have to pay millions to a company for due dilligence on behalf of the purchaser on the deal as i understand it. if you buy a house and want it inspected you the buyer usually pays for that....not the seller.
Another thing that puzzles me as why they would even bother getting us to vote on this deal untill all the agreements were totally rectified and the only thing remaining to close would be our vote....
