Dear Baba,
'Sula, I believe your optimism destroys any objectivity you may once have had when it comes to POET'
I take issue with your comment.
My expressions of optimism are mostly written to balance the unfettered pessimism that often overtakes this board. I'm also not sure why you feel you have mastery of objectivity, there's a clear whiff of arrogance in your statement.
I think the signals made by management at the 2019 AGM are an order of magnitude different to previous issues and we should pay to heed to their potential to move the SP once tranch one of the sale goes through.
The common complaint that PTI do not address shareholders need for information are blown aside by what we have heard. The vision confidently potayed by management, with far greater assurance and realism of the timescales remaining to mass production, completely overrides your tendency to overly dwell negatively on past performance that meaninglessly go back seven years.
I read what is happening as regards the OI project as being in the dotting the I's and crossing the T's stage. The emphasis made on the 'push' from Customer1 and DL's 'floodgates' comment plus having a working OI sample to slide across the table to other potential tier one customers on the books, offers us an insight of potential SP movement, more than the wittering of the likes of both you and I.
Personally I thing your objectivity is made suspect by your need to be right. The point of this board is not aboiut who is right or wrong but our views whether PTI is right or wrong. My view is PTI is showing every indication of getting it right and worthy of investesting in today.
as ever,
sula
