Lebowski, I found your note interesting in defense of some skepticism of Shash. Your comment about we don't know what we don't know is just common sense but in the realm of doing business with the Chinese it probably needs to be repeated often. Guanxi is the Chinese concept of good relationships, specifically in business... it helps to grease those ties with who you will be dealing with in China... however, mae guanxi can also apply: No relationship, it doesn't matter.
