I was thinking that they might be looking for analysts too.

But analysts ask questions that are generally quantitative in nature and read into the qualitative.  Or they may pry into the supply chain and relationships with partners and customers.  And if you're not quite ready to make those assumptions and provide something that can be analyzed, you won't get the questions.  IMO
