I have to disagree,

I agree that there was no blockbuster news but this was not a non-event.

7 of the 8 developments projects for the OI are completed/validated. Low-loss coupling of the laser for the OI platform have been achieved/validated. This is a major step.

Was it properly convey to the investors, I can't really say... My gut feeling is that POET didn't want to announce their technical progress too much over the year. Why, my guess is has good as yours...

Final validation of the OI is expected to happen before the end of the year. This is profably the final integration of all the components that have been developped/fabricated/tested & validated over 2019 and this will be for 400G. I sound have ask more details about that last step and the risks associated to it...

Vivik joined POET has he believe it will be game-changer. I surely hope that he knows more than me what are the painpoints of the optical industry.
