Your thoughts are well founded Baba and probably shared by more on here than you think, myself included. All of the patterns you have observed over the years, and for the reasons you state, are very palpable.

To mitigate the trading variables, my M.O. has been to wait out the good news price rides then follow up on the dips with lower priced buys. (I've made so many stink bids that an air freshener now adorns the upper left side of my laptop screen). Occasionally some get through and it lessens the sting until this stock takes off (which it will IMO). I have to admit I am still having fun.

Bottom line is dollar cost averaging with some bargain buys built in.
