I often post merely to counteract the impression that builds up here that PTK is about to fall off a cliff when it has grown its wings to fly.  I would like the new visitor here, and they are growing, to feel that us longs have evidenced based hope now way beyond the high risk reality of our early days gathered around POETs birthing pool.

The other day I attended the fiftieth anniversary of my Sandhurst passing out parade and was deeply disappointed to find myself surrounded by old grey haired blokes.  All be it still Plenty of energy there and sadly some passed on.  I can't stop the glums comments, how else can one ginger up the depressives, all in fun of course, but with few exceptions it would be nice to really know the real characters gay, in the old sense LOL, or glum that have inhabited this space for far too long.  I've always thought that the mark of a good friend is that you can be downright rude to them and viceversa without upset - Baba your one, love you too.
