In the midst of all this speculation, it might also be pertenant to keep in mind that Cisco, in the industry, is considered an "end user" company.
POET has consistently said they are doing transciever work with a "tier one" company, which I suppose could possible be one of Cisco's subsidaries, but I don't think so.
My thought is that POET's tier one is someone like Broadcom, who just happens to have a design facility in Ottawa near our friends at Millview Photonics and where Bill Rings spends some of his time.
