Seriously some of us need to get real. If a company bids for poet, they are not going to be offering huge money to start with. Even in a bidding war, let’s say an entity offers $3 a share. There would be a lot here who would take that. With cold hard cash offers on the table it would be hard to refuse.

For the sake of argument, lets say it gets rejected. Another bid comes in at $5, the deal gets done at that point. Not many would have the b#lls to reject that, considering where a lot of us have been with POET. Management would certainly have to run it by us and we’d sign I believe.

The only way a $10 bid comes in, is if we have reproducible revenue and clear pathways to more. The sp would have to be way north of here. I’d also wager that most of us will have sold a large proportion of our holding before that point anyway.

Good luck, because I believe management have no intention of selling and so we’re all going to have to decide at what point we start liquidating some of our shares. That’s a tough call and in some ways a buyout is just easier, as that decision is taken out of our hands.
