It could be as simple as putting it in a nice way - mutually beneficial - and nothing more. Poet gets its money, eventually, and refrains from taking any legal action against the consortium, as may well be Poet's right at this point.
It may be related to the status of the acceptance of the OI. But, regardless of the $5 million, the OI has to be accepted and ordered by customers in any event for POET to be successful.
It would be nice to get the money and be done with that issue, but if any payment was going to be a problem, best to be the last and smallest one.
Certainly not much interest today in POET shares.
