I spent a little time today reading a hyped sales pitch from a 'snake oil' salesman promoting his ability to would be punters at spotting tech stocks that will change the world. I had no intention of parting with funds in order to find out who they might be, but I did rather enjoy reflecting on the figures presented for the growth of such unique shares. No one here has lost the desire to be part of such an extreme growth tech opportunities they do occur from time to time and its why we are all still here I suspect.
A surprising degree of negativity has been expressed here recently at what to me seem like the normal course of events for a baby steps tech company entering the world. Nothing can be totally derisked as we've seen with the arrival of a pandemic in the world, but the worst examples of concernes for POET risks feel to me to be in the past. The team has completed their part in what was asked of them by a Tier one company. The Optical Interposer platform produced is in the process of being integrated by that Tier one company and sufficient time has already past for shareholder's to be updated on progress on that front as well as the status of negotiations with other customers who we are told are interested in the disruptive potential of the OI platform. Then there's the progress of the special relationship POET has as number one customer of DenseLight Singapore.
All this leaves me with the impression that I have been a wise virgin and may well indeed have tended my lamp well.. I really think we can stop using the word soon and start using the word imminent.
Rejoice!
