I found this very interesting,

"The purpose of this extension is to ensure that the warrant holders have enough time to complete the exercise process, should they decide to do so."

To complete the exercise process of executing the warrants tells me it's going to happen and that they have the goods to get us there, there's no way they can make this statement so assuredly because they can no longer afford further embarrassment by falling short again.
