On another topic, as to the Tier 1, if it's anything remotely as large as Cisco, it would not be prudent for such a company to rely on one small, yet unproven company, for a crucial piece of equipment which might differentiate the products into which the OI or facsimile would be incorporated.  

It could be that the Tier 1 will use different of these competing products depending on the type of product ultimately to be assembled.  Poet does not need to be the Tier 1's sole supplier. A big benefit of being a small company.
