I think you have the basics correct Baba, not that I know much about partnerships and mergers. My questions would be !) who in China gets to elvaluate the IP of a Canadaian company while Meng Wanzhou is in custody in Canada 2) is the entirety of POET's IP being evaluated, or only the OI portion. Difficult to determine value of OI's intellectual property by fair market value without developing a future revenue model first.
I think this is another example of not enough information given/or available for shareholders to make a reasoned conclusion. We have to wait for a bit more information before that can happen
