Reading the quote from FJ (not native speaking), I understand the received payment not to be 5million, but less than that.

However, the details for the continued sale/fabrication agreement between POET and DL seems to better for POET as before, this is why they accepted a payment lower than 5 million. 

At least this is how I understand it. I am not sure if the market will see it positive (depending on what the final payment really is), having a lower payment and this after such a long delay from the original pay date.

I am positive in the whole, but this all looks strange in total, without knowing many details. But good that this is finally out of the way.
