Honestly, it was a lunch meeting with the company about 10 years ago - they were touting the solar junk back then - I had a side conversation with someone who could only have been Dr Geoff - he lit me up (pun intended) on the concept of computing in optical.  I didn't buy the solar story so it never went in the professionl account but I stuck a piece in my PA just in case.  Now this is way way longer and a whole mess of problems more than I thought it might be....
