To paraphrase Everett Dirksen, former U.S. Senator from Illionois (actually it is a misquote since Dirksen never said it, but I still love the idea) : 

"A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking about real money."

So, the paraphrase applied to POET would run something like:  "Two and half million here, two and half million there... pretty soon you are talking about real money!

Not near as memorable as "accepted the loss in order to move on", now that's a quote to remember!

Not to mention: "$2.5 million of our money.....not managements."
