While the most important milestone for POET since Q2 ended was the signing of its joint venture with Xiamen Sanan Integrated Circuit, in Q3 2020 the company made other progress. During the quarter POET announced it has signed a deal with a European optical systems company with global operations for a 400G data center application. This company is a leading provider of optical networking systems for data center and enterprise applications. The contract includes a small amount of NRE funding to design optical engines based on the POET Optical Interposer for a 400G application, along with a purchase order for initial production units. We expect the company to book revenues from this deal Q1 and ship initial units starting in June.
