The first multi-product wafer (MPW) mask set for production. When we think about POET and make comparisons to the electronic industry consider the generations of processes that have culminated in the 7nm process node. We have heard recently that the CAPEX cost to put a POET optical engine into production is about 1/10th of existing approaches (if memory serves correct). Now consider the following article:
