KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 9 2021): Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) rose in active trade this morning after winning a bid to acquire semiconductor fabricating company SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

A consortium led by DNeX has won the bid to acquire SilTerra from Khazanah Nasional Bhd, according to DNeX in a bourse filing yesterday.
DNeX said Khazanah had informed it last Friday (Feb 5) that it had won its bid for the entire issued share capital of SilTerra, subject to the signing of a definitive agreement.
DNeX also explained that the acceptance of the bid is still subject to strict confidentiality with Khazanah and no further details of the bid can be publicly disclosed until the signing of the definitive agreement.
