I think you are absolutely correct, tannersfriend.

GaAs is waiting to emerge in a better place and time. SV's briiliant diversion got us this far but the older patents are priceless, IMHO.

I remember when SV first brought up the BB Photonics and Denselight maneuvres and suspected there was something brilliant in a strategy that most of is coudn't see at the time. We definitely missed an iceburg. This Captain's okay.
