I am sure the plan of management was to get up the SP organically. We could see the extension of expiry of these 0,75 CAD warrants last year...

And even now with the much appreciated promotional efforts, it seems POET was hitting several times these roadblocks of the shorters with their 0,52 CAD warrants as insurance. So consequently they are now drawing the R/S option to get us uplisted. Well, they can, but possibly they do not need to R/S. Get the SP up, possibly with new investors from the Needham Conference. And if not - let's R/S. 

And yes, something could be "up"?!
