If you're offered a pp, I'm pretty sure you agree to keep that info confidential and not trade in advance. Any trading in light of the info would be illegal, I believe. Yet, it's been known to happen - shocking (LOL) - business as usual.
Many have said it already, you sign up for such stuff when you buy into a lightly capitalized company. And if you didn't know it, you do now. Remember it, it's not gonna change.
Look, we only have half the story. What we don't know is what the pp participants have done for Poet. I'm guessing some substantial quid pro quo, monetary support or otherwise.
