The world has been waiting for photonic interconnects for twenty years. Possibly its time is here.  Is this one of those shiny rocks that Suresh would pick-up?  The financial success associated with designing such a heavy-lifting photonic interconnect for a company like Nvidia cannot be understated.  With what POET has developed thus far, are they already part of the way there towards designing such an interconnect?  If so, then maybe they would not be that resource- constrained by picking up this shiny rock.  Maybe they have already done so.  Just something else to think about.
