Ok - modulators are a key building block of any transceiver.

Modulator can be built in different form factors and materiel systems (InP – Silicon – others), just as lasers. Knowing what your customers and other industry leaders are doing is is paramount for POET.

Building our platform with the flexibility to implement any laser and modulator design will encourage adoption by multiple players, for multiple device generations and multiple markets.

POET is currently working on the implementation of the modulators and has the freedom to adapt to the latest standard requirements.
