And if we don’t receive future numbers (or just future numbers that are not detailed enough), investors have to resort to what they have, i. e., present numbers, which are not great, plus their expectations, which (by definition) justify the present share price.

Or they have to wait until future numbers become present or past numbers and are actually in the books. I am fine with that.
