Iamsorry, I don't feel like you about the development, clearly a popular view here, but Management has over and over emphasised that they are customer led. The most recent presntation by TM  (panel 18)includes a product roadmap clearly labelled 'Product Roadmap driven by Customer Engagement'.

Firstly why not delight in the statement that clearly demonstrates that this is no longer a development stage as in R&D but commercialisation, i.e. engaging with customers to fine tune the POET toolset to customer needs, the pace of this process has by right to be that set be customers, your post sours the success that this is and makes it seems like incompetence which it most certainly is not, simply by coupling it to one statement made by SV which may have well been a step to far and again customer driven.

Secondly, my experience of computer project development would emphasise the difficulty of timing future events, so whilst you soften your criticism with a statement 'understanding of the complexities of the task' why even bother to put such negativity abroad which this is damaging to POET's image when there is so much positivity that the project is moving forward that can be drawn from the more realistic roadmap.  This I fear panders to the worst side of markets.

Iamsorry but my great friend is in need of a more optimistic overview of the amazing opportunity POET presents as do thirty six or so others here.
