Oh yes, I do understand the importance of revenues!
But how do you get there without those painfull stages of development, samples and validations? I view design wins as the prerequisit to what we all want to see. Not as "another obstacle to keep us from getting rich instantly", but as the paramount prerequisit, or "dooropener" to get there.
May be I am geting something wrong, but how do you get to revenue without design wins first? Having been invested for nearly 10 years myself I understand any and all impatience. But, hey, it's not Copetti's Opel anymore, nor Dr. Taylor's GaAs visions. POET has been reinvented since then with Bill Ring's inventions and Suresh's new path to success. And all of us "stoneage holders" should be grateful for this turn, as we otherwise could have folded long ago.
So, what point is there in moaning about everything taking too long? We're geting closer day by day! Which couldn't really be said about PC when he promised us Nasdaq. And design wins are not good enough? C'mon, get real. They are the dawn that needs to come before the sunrise...
Happy week and good health to all, so that we can survive in good spirits till it all falls in place!
