The NeoPhotonics presentation and the tranceivers on their website seem entirely focused on ZR (the longest range interconnects). Poet as yet has not put ZR on their roadmap. Poets current products are focused on FR/DR ranges and as recently announced, LR4. So as of now there seems to be no direct competitive overlap.
