Perhaps in the future if someone wants to discuss a competing technology they should first provide reasons why they believe it is such. We are all very aware of what makes POET a disruptive technology as it is well documented in the presentations and news releases. So if there is a company that is presenting information that points to for example to a low cost solution enabled through automated processes while maintaining highly efficient connectivity (high coupling and transmission efficiency) then by all means bring it forward. Otherwise it becomes a waste of time for this forum and removes focus from what this forum is for which is POET.

At this point in time there are no documented technologies that declare the advantages that POET is reporting.

As it may be difficult for new people to understand the differences then those discussions should at the very least begin in the off topic forum to avoid wasting people’s time on the main forum.
