Well, intel is doing monolithic wafer fabrication of optical devices with a lot of the same functions and capabilities poet is saying they have. 

maybe one of the more techy people here can show how and why POET is way ahead.. 

I really think that this question should be asked seriously in the next beyond the press release.   

How is Poet different or better than what Intel is doing..    they seem to be very much on the same path as POET.
