Would Occam's razor apply in this situation? Likely just the market or market makers driving up the price for a specific purpose. For what purpose? Therein lies the question.
Firms like Canaccord make huge sums by playing the market both ways. They short the stock into oblivion, and then step with private placements and buy back the shorted shares. It is clockwork and easy money for them.
This board of course has a bit of an agenda in leaning towards the bullish side... and the posters can write a thesis from a Liked Twitter post... but this seems a bit too fishy to be a simple coincidence, and it really should not be a surprise.
