It's very easy to say managements actions stopped the SP rise, because you can't be proven wrong. Absolutely nobody knows what would have happened if they hadn't sold less than 1% of their holding when they did.
Looking at the chart there is clearly a wall at around $1.50 and when we quickly broke through it, it was bought back down below that level, hence the long wick. See it all the time with venture stocks. That was prior to the knowledge of management selling. This is a traders dream and a lot of their eyes are on this stock now. No doubt their selling had an affect, but it was exacerbated by the frankly ridiculous reaction to it. Some if it by design and now we're all caught up in the drama of it.
