Breeze67: Probably (and that's just my 2 cents theory) he doesn't care about the short term fluctuation because he knows what's coming over the next few months and all this noise will be irrelevant then.
I very much do share this view! As a thought experiment, let’s assume for a moment that Tom, instead of bringing POET’s business forward, spends some or a lot of effort and manages to drive the share price from CAD 1.06 up to, say, CAD 2.06.
What would happen next? After a few seconds of excitement, the same games, the same rallys, the same drops, the same whining on this board, the same management bashing, the same ol same ol would occur, just on a higher level – provided that higher level could even be kept.
So, why bother! Tom is complety right to let the share price fluctuate as it pleases and instead focus on business execution. If/when successful, the share price will take care of itself.
