Chappychap,

Far from you being singled out there are significant numbers on the board supporting your view. A view that is repeated adinfintum it seems.  The questions I ask those who share your view is that:

 1. why do you think that a sudden rise in shareprice that is based on the unexplained rise of another firm, albeit with similarities, is sustainable?

2. Why should management who had no idea such a run would occur sadly drop all plans to focus on trying to sustain a shareprice blip.

So many vacuous statements have been made about management with no basis other than a resentment that they haven't made a certain group of shareholders rich on an impromptu unplanned event.

The rational way to raise POET SP consistantly is not to ride an impromptu SP blip, but for management to deliver on their stated aims of becoming a leader in its field of Optical integration. There is a clear plan which will deliver a sustainable SP which will benefit all shareholders long term, it is a plan that has to be finely tuned and timed to certain business events and certainly not to a venture capital market blip based on unpredictable human emotions.

I empathise with the desire to benefit from POET soon, but please be realistic about the constraints imposed on managers and the necessity of good  planning rather than knee jerk reaction to market serendipity.
