POET announced at the 2021 OFC show that samples of its 100G and 200G CWDM4 light engines will be available in early July. POET also announced that it will soon offer 400G DR4 and FR4 transmission and reception light engines, which will receive samples of the optical engines in September. Samples of the emission engine based on high-power CW (continuous wave) lasers and silicon photon modulators will be available from Q4 2021. At the conference, Dr. Mo will talk about the development trend of silicon optical integration and introduce the technology and advantages of POET-based optoelectronic integration platform.
