My understanding of the NR is:

That a Beta sample of a POET product (400G TxRx ) provided to a EU Customer, when tested by them internally, worked to their satisfaction and at the performance levels expected.

The few minor observations made by the EU customer, have already been incorporated by POET in the Alpha version of the product, which is currently at the printers producing the disc, Therefore the product will soon be with the EU customer in its final ready for production form.  

This is major milestone in that a POET customer, for the very first time, will on receipt of the Alpha version of the product, be the very first customer to be able to begin production of a component containing a POET OI product.

Hallelujah! Rejoice! a contract win.

POET is about to give birth to its first Child (golden egg number one) and we as shareholders are about to become doting Uncles and Aunties, delighted with the Golden Goose that Suresh Vekatesan has become.

Golden egg number two surely is not far behind. We were told to judge progress on contract wins.  Others will now be very much more assured to contract POET for their products.
