Shareholders who need to sell shares in order to get the liquidity to exercise their warrants, and who had expected a much higher share price by now, are now faced with the problem that they cannot wait any longer because the warrants are about to expire. So they have to sell, which depresses the share price. And they have to sell before other shareholders do so who are in the same situation.
Consequently, we may experience significant pressure on the share price in the coming days and weeks, depending on how many warrants are left. Of course, this is only temporary. And for those who have some spare cash left, it’s a good (please forgive the word) buying opportunity.
