Moska, what you need to know is that Miro is a fellow Canadian, a friend of mine from the Department of Defense days  and a pioneer in the integrated photonics space.

He is the guy that actually invented the waveguide platform which is the basis of the optical interposer. Miro founded the company (BBPhotonics) along with Bob Musk. Bill Ring could see the massive opportunity this idea posed and came on board to market the idea and open a lab in the UK.

It was Suresh who knew of the wave guide theory, knew that Miro and company had the IP. He could see forward to what would become the Optical interposer back then and moved POET to acquire the company.
