The way Suresh presented his answer, it became clear that this "tier1" company set expectations that POET could not meet over the past 18 months and therefore did not become a supplier in their supply chain. Laser quality supplied to POET by others has tied POET's hands in the past and appears to have prevented POET from meeting the requirements set out by the tier1. Suresh did hold out he was hopeful that with new lasers coming on stream that they may yet meet these so far missed milestones.
