Ad Astra, there will always be off topic posts here.  LWLG posts are close enough for me to enjoy, and they really don't take much time to either read or ignore.  I speak with some bias, of course, as at least half of my posts are attempts at humor or fairly good-natured needling.  I would never say something like "I like the science" or "I like the tech" cuz what a lay person like me likes or dislikes about science or tech would be meaningless.  

But I do enjoy what I believe to be well-reasoned posts on science and tech.  And market behavior comment is always welcome here, as that I can understand.  Sometimes, people call out such posts as being off topic, but I believe those posts to be quite important to developing a rounded understanding of what exactly we have here.  

My understanding of what we have here is still developing....
