There have been a tremendous amount of negative posts lately, many of them nasty, and many directed at management. It's interesting, because I'd venture to say that many of those criticizing management may be in line for criticism base on their own mismanagement. How many of us, including the glums (as Sula would say), are way overweight (% of portfolio and/or net worth) in POET stock? I know that I am, but I have the sense that I'm not as obese as many.
Well, it may work out for us, but it sure as heck may not; POET has been speculative forever. it remains speculative I would say that many of us have mismanaged our investment portfolio in an aggregious way - placing too many eggs in one basket.
If my sense is correct, then I can understand why at least some of the critics criticize - the investment is way too significant a part of their lives, net worths and/or portfolios. Not to mention to their spouses, to the extent, that is, that the spouses receive the kind of disclosure about the state of the family portfolio that the critics often insist upon from Poet management.
