Message: Where is the PR machinery?

There is a lot of frustration voiced by many regarding the share price. Management has responded by providing a significant level of information on the capabilities of the Optical Interposer Platform. They have shared so many details and have spent a lot of time and effort to educate the marketplace on the step change of improvements that the POET platform offers. 

It is the kind of detail that is rarely shared by many companies and I expect it is because they don’t really have significant improvements over what currently exists. In many cases the potential is there but after 30 years of monolithic silicon photonic investment one would think there would be a level of perfection that would make it difficult to improve on.

I was kind of excited when Leb posted that link to the Rockley paper. The way he presented it led me to believe that it would provide details that would help identify the strength of that platform. But I did not see any reference to Rockley’s platform. That being said, there are 88 references listed, many of which are by leading companies. So yes it is a really good research paper for it’s time. Things are moving fast in terms of the directions that industry is embarking on. Even since that paper's last revision in Sept 2020 the form factor for high density ELSFP pluggables (which did not exist at the time of that writing) appears to have gained acceptance. 

Anyway I believe that the transparency that POET has provided in terms of the Optical Interposer platform is really going to allow the marketplace to identify POET as a major path to meet the needs for optical integration by the industry. 

Yesterday POET provided a snapshot of the Optical Interposer applications associated with AI.
