I guess it feels obvious to me that it will be a while before the retail investor will really get Poet. The secrecy is the tightest in those companies who actually make the end product that millions/billions will buy and use. It works backwards from there, and we are perhaps a couple places removed from that and under constraint because of it. It's complicated tech besides, so that adds a difficulty in communicating our worth.
I am going to assume that the professional investors with large amounts of money will actually understand Poet's potential since they'll have the people who can analyse its tech and its competition, etc,. Our current group is rather unusual, and that other retail investors haven't found their way here is no surprise to me. A long long time ago there was one of those newletters that hit email accounts which hit mine, touting the future of Poet, and I found my way here. I only owned a little for years, but added over time until now I have a great deal.
I think the Nasdaq move is absolutely essential, as is the 10/1 split, if we want to truly expand our investor base. Poet's tech will lower overall cost as well as lower ongoing energy costs all while expanding computing power. Think of the world's position - increasing energy costs, inflation, all while demand for the internet is expanding. The geopolitical risks, the supply chain issues, have already affected us by slowing things down, but my hope is that Poet's solution is so needed that eventually patience will be rewarded.
