if you have 41 shares and a 10/1 split occurs you loose 1 share or .84 cents if fractions are counted down.

if you have 42 shares  you loose .84x2 $1.68

if you have 43 shares you lose    .84x3  $2.52

if you have 49 shares you lose     .84 x9 $ 7.56

 

Does that make sense?
