If you think Poet management is part of any dirty game, you are quite mistaken. They are shareholders too. They represent everyone's best interests. Sure some things might come down to compromises, but that's it. So what can make you happy? When new money flows into Poet that adds to the treasury, then Poet management needs to find a way to make them happy. Happy doesn't mean a low buyout price, especially when management says in their mission statement that they want to be leader in photonics. These new investors will be happy when they understand the impact that Poet will have and how their investment can make Poet attain the market capitalization it deserves. How will Poet do that? By confirming the due diligence of the new investors that they understand what they are investing in. Many here are shareholders from the secondary market that did not contribute to the treasury but actively supported the company by buying and holding shares. We believe in Poet and we are patient.

It comes down to what you wish to believe. If you feel management does not work in your best interest, then you might need to find somewhere else to invest where your level of uncomfort is unshaken.
